Our Trip to Dingle

August 2020

The Relics go on holidays! What was meant to be a few days on the Dingle peninsula became almost a week. The sun shone throughout, music wafted across the cool Kerry evening air and the craic was overflowing. Poor auld Shay got sidelined by a midge bite and Lord Ventry got hung out on Hell’s washing line. An eventful few days!

Although we over did it a few nights we still managed to do some great walks and swim in some magical spots. Big thanks to our hosts Helen, Joe and Mossie for their hospitality and patience with the rag taggle outfit we were. Big shout out to Mossie Scanlon Tours for the knowledge, wisdom and insights into the landscape. He’s an archive of local history with a keen storytelling ability.
